GRANGER-HUNTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

Subject: NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING AND FEE INCREASE HEARING

 

2027 Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Granger-Hunter Improvement District Board of Trustees will hold a budget hearing on Tuesday, November 17th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Granger-Hunter Improvement District Office, 2888 South 3600 West, West Valley City, Utah, for the purpose of hearing comments on the estimates of revenues and expenditures or any item in the 2027 Final Budget.

 

2027 Fee Increase Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Granger-Hunter Improvement District intends to increase fees for services provided by the District, including an overall increase of 11% to water fees and 8% to wastewater fees, and adjustments to other District service fees as shown in the proposed fee schedule notated at the bottom of this notice. The Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the District Office, 2888 South 3600 West, West Valley City, Utah, to hear comments on the proposed fees and to explain the reasons for the increase. The Board will also consider adopting a multi-year fee schedule 2028 – 6.5%, 2029 – 6.5% and 2030 – 5.0%. After the hearing, the Board may impose the fees as proposed, adjust them before imposing them, or decline to impose them.
